[HoTMetaL competitor] Adobe Pagemill 3.0 shipping in considerable quantities to retail channel garnering impressive shelf-space (3x-5x) HoTMetaL 4.0...HoTMetaL has very little presence in channels at this time...SWEBF simply HAS to get latest version out [timely] with better packaging showing ALL industry awards/reviews prominently ON THE FRONTwith competition features matrix...and HotMetaL 5.0 should be called Visual HoTMetaL eCommerce Suite (VHeS) or SoftQuad simply MUST come out [in addition to HoTMetaL] with a less powerful product WITH A DIFFERENT NAME and totally different and hipper look from HoTMetaL packaging...e.g. HOTmetal Total Ecommerce SoluTion or SuiTe (HOTTEST)... Why is NetObjects so hot? 1) superior product (as is HoTMetaL) 2) NetObjects advertising demo/psycho graphics are precisely right on with significant and consistent frequency (Wired Magazine, Red Herring Magazine...), (vs. HoTMetaL, which is simply very poor or non-existent 3) NetObjects ads are way hip (vs. HoTMetaLs, which are depressing as is the dark red packaging, whose ads are virtually (and literally) non-existent, which simply do not tell the story/capitalize on the facts/reviews/awards/... NetObjects arrived on the scene years after HoTMetaL and is smoking them in the U.S....so what's Tarter doing as a director for SoftQuad?...he can put on seminars as can SoftQuad but appears neither are able to get SoftQuad product out of the box...still a GIANT hole in the management team and one which has incurred irreversible lost opportunity costs, brand equity and shareholder value for SoftQuad(.)...
