Alan:

These are the kind of stocks I like. 5 years ago I owned a two way radio shop, and understand (of course things have changed in 5 yrs.) RF and data transmission. I would like to get some information on what methods they are using. I remember there were ideas of using existing systems (ie. cellular sites) as an in place network for a system like this. There is (from what I understand) excess space on the data channels of these "in-place" systems that can be used to pass data.

Do you know how MEME proposes to provide the RF path for their modems? Also are they using a multiplexing or spread spectrum RF system?

This is a very exciting field, the FCC is reallocating the RF spectrum to companies that can use it effectively. A lot of things are happening in the RF field, as we evolve in to a super mobile working society. We sure can not be looking for a hard wire phone jack to plug into. Nor (IMO) can we mix it up with the cellular phone, passing audio chews up a lot of bandwidth. The passing of multiplexed data is a more efficient use of bandwidth than voice, and I would think a specialized system specifically for data could provide cost effective wireless connections to the net.

I think there is a very interesting future in MEME. My laptop longs for a wireless internet link! This news is very interesting! Relief may be on the way! I am more concerned about liberating my laptop, than what happens to the stock price tomorrow.
