We might be all missing the point here. This is not necessarily a public tournament like a typical PGA, but a tournament for a select viewing audience (namely sponsors and clients) to get up close and personel with the players. No wonder the golf jocks at the shop don't know about it. If you look carefully at the web site it specifically states that the tourny is designed primarily for sponsors and their guests. Looks to me that this is a good idea, and could be very popular with wealthy companies. I for one know of a few MSFT employees that like to play golf with their fortunes. I don't expect alot of hype about luring the public, however, it is possible to order tickets over the internet if you wish. Remember Neville repeatingly has said that virtually all revenues will come from sponsors. I for one, expect to hear who those will be shortly.
