How do you know Sony is 'just around the corner'?
Furthermore, which of the many corners on the way
to manufacturing are we talking about?

If VLNC can bring in an OEM into their factory
and show them cells zipping off the line, i don't
think more credibility is required.

Note that others like LITH are promising mfg quantities
in 1999.

If you believe this thread, Sony was negotiating with vlnc
late last year to acquire their technology. If Sony did
not need vlnc's technology why were they negotiating?

The Laptop market is cut-throat business. A l-poly
battery would help anybody's product line immensely
right now. When they are available which OEM do you
think can stand not to offer them?
