TO ALL: As I mentioned earlier, I had a talk with Mr. Jacobs today. After speaking for about 5 minutes we got on the topic of the internet and SI. I explained that the internet is a "free domain" for everyone to express opinion.

For those that feel the stock is being "manipulated by rumours" I suggest you do as I did! I sent a message to the webmistress asking when SI would finally make it so that "members only" may read what is posted here. The response was that this is how they generate new membership, plus the 30 day free trial.

So I would suggest to all that if SI doesn't care who reads what is on this site, or how they react to the posted information, why should we? If a non-member, who reads the ramblings of this thread, decides to go out and buy the stock, should we care ? NO! If he decides to sell his stock, should we care, No! After all we are responsible to our fellow threaders, not the general public at large. The fact is "WE" paid for access to a "chat room" that SI has allowed to be public!

Mr. Jacobs was upset with his "calling on the carpet by the VSE" but the blame (SI thread) has been laid inappropriately.

The VSE was able to access all of the content on this website because it is public, and free access for everyone to read. Free access provided by SI. If the VSE has a beef with what is said on this or any other thread of SI, they should take it up with SI management. IT IS NOT OUR FAULT!! We are only responsible to ourselves in debunking these rumours, no one else!

I support a "members only" SI, consider what I have said and if you support this thought, e-mail the webmistress, maybe they'll take the hint. Until then, I believe in freedom of speech, no matter how "stupid it is".
