Here is some information I found on MSFT conference call.

Microsoft (MSFT) shares are likely to rise Wednesday after the Redmond, Wash.-based company said it expects to earn 48 cents per share in its fiscal third quarter, 4 cents ahead of analysts' expectations. In a conference call with analysts and reporters, Chief Financial Officer Greg Maffei credited "solid" sales of Office 97 and strength in European markets. He also said weakness in Asia hasn't been as bad as was feared. As it often does, however, Microsoft warned that its growth rates may have hit their "high water marks." Maffei pointed out that even with the current quarter's strong performance, earnings are expected to be less than 30 percent above last year's level. That compares to earnings growth of more than 50 percent in previous quarters. In after-hours trading, Microsoft shares added 1 1/16 to 84 15/16 but gained as much as 4 points.
