Gunther: Its the best of both worlds, look at Deltathree & VOCLF. They are peering with others to get the world covered. No doubt, my opinion is that they are unable to do it themselves. They don't have a one-stop-backbone-shop like WCOM.

I don't see that much of an increased customer base, except for corporations. I see more profits for WCOM on the telephony side as the regular phone line profits fall. They have to fall when you have companies like IDT, and may others touting toll-quality.

They will pay for themselve in a few years. Look at companies like Cummins Engine that spend 8 million+ world wide on LD services. How may "Tempest" do you think would cover that bill, and how many years would it take to pay it off? ggg

WCOM will use their customer base the best way they know how. And how/or Telephony will be a NORM!!! in a few years.

I really don't think it takes much insight to see WCOM allowing customers to use Telephony. No tax's, no sur-charge, and when large corporations that use WCOM ask? Hey, what about company X, I heard they cut their LD bills in half? How'd they do that?
