Very funny. I think Cymer should learn from other pseudo-monopolies' mistakes and triumphs. On the mistake side, always treat your customers with respect and always do right by them. On the triumph side, use size(production-wise) and support infrastructure to reinforce the reality that noone can replace you as a vendor. I would also take Microsoft's cue of tempering expectations, so you always surprise on the upside(I think a lot of tech companies do this now).

Anyway, it's nice to own stock in pseudo-monopolies. They do very well over time.

PS Cymer can also dangle the carrot of the best technology in its market.
