Steve, I just read an article in PC Week, on the Intel thread here in SI. Sorry, Id give the link but I dont know how. I would suggest that all interested in CPQ read the article. It is in relation to a relationship between Compaq and Intel regarding Intel's next generation Merced chip. Compaq is apparetly working w/ Intel for integration into all types computers/applications. What do u know about this. I just read another article that came out today that says that Intel is having a SEVERE lack of not only Pentium Pros but also with all types of Pentium processors. Compac must be thrilled. What do you or what does anyone else know about these next generation processors (Merced) and Compaq's relation. IMO, Compaq, if they are the only co. of its type working with Intel, this is a positive indication of INTC's faith in compaq and forbodes an awesome 97 & 98 for Compaq, especially in the server market. curious & thinking of buying Compa
