It really doesn't look good does it? This is what happens when a $600 M per year capable company has sales which are less than half of that. With the present business climate they can't get their order input and backlog up. Carrying that kind of excess capacity load is killing them. Hope they can last till next year. The following is an excerpt from their report:

"Gross profit margins in the second quarter and first half of fiscal 1998 were impacted by low manufacturing capacity utilization, reflecting lower than expected revenues and the addition of the new Microlithography manufacturing, engineering and laboratory facility in Allen,Texas, in the second half of fiscal 1997."

At best it looks like it will take several months for them to turn things around. In the meantime, the stock price is probably stagnant to lower. What a wonderful outlook<g>
