MYNGA, "[AMD] traced it [(yield short fall)] back to a cleaning process" Just how a routine cleaning process be the culprit? This still remains a rumor --- barking up the wrong tree! The root cause is right in AMD's face but too embarrassing to admit --- too aggressive of design rule and immature manufacturing process.
