Fred, Re: "Intel already has an aggressive buyback program in place."

But not aggressively proportionate to their cash on hand. From what I've been reading on this thread. Intel is preparing well for the near future. Networking, Video chipset, Motherboard enhancement, PC on a chip, server highend market, mainframe chip etc etc.

My point is if Intel shows EVERYONE they have strong confidence in their future, i.e. bringing cash down at a time of LOW INTEREST RATES! Why does Greenspan have so much influence in markets? Because he controls interest rates right? Well now that they are low and inflation looks tame, one has to wonder why a leading company in the fastest growing industry in the world would hoard so much cash! It leads people to believe Intel has something to worry about. Besides it make guys like Kurlack look right. We don't know if he knows what he's talking about, but the company insiders are selling off the stock and hoarding billions of dollars so something looking forward looks worrisome!
