The reason everyone is focusing on inventory and merger problems is because the company talks about little else, trying to hide performance. Exactly. And, what little has been said indicates that 3Com is loosing at the enterprise level -- forcing them into more price sensitive (aka, lower margin) markets. Quoting the Fool: "Sales of high-end products, like switches and hubs and platforms, declined from $621 million to $549 million in the last quarter." Off the jungle floor and into the trees.
