MSFT

There is an old adage that goes something like this: "If an analyst touts stock, sell it. If the CEO praises it, short."

While the CFO isn't Bill Gates (but he is pretty tight with him on this), and I would be the last one to short MSFT, I'll have to pass on listening to any conference calls. For one thing, its old news, and the soon-to-be news will be reflected in the price/volume action of the market. MSFT may beat estimates, for either actual or projected earnings or growth or both, or they might not. I think I will just watch the tick and play the splits and swings, and try to figure out where the bounce entry will be when the correction comes.

just a thought...
