That could well be. In either case, whether shorted as a hedge, or outright, this adds to the "spring". In the former, it SOFTENS the dilutive conversion effect. In the LATTER (such as our whipping boy - right!) we'll get some market loft.

Not exactly a DELL, but a thing of beauty nonetheless (especially last 50 weeks):
