Hans, Agree, but I would expect to see a beating from this if ORCL is any example. I am sure this is to position against MSFT more than RATL, but it will also cut into their Rose market. Let's hope that RATL has sufficiently presented their depth of their product line so that a move by Sun won't cause the massive drop that ORCL did. BTW, I had a similar experience as you with RATL personnel. I got a call from a senior person on the Rational Solutions Provider team who wanted to discuss my comments. I think it is definitely impressive that RATL responds to these types of concerns- it is a good sign about the focus on the company. I had a good conversation with her and believe that RATL is focusing on addressing some of the weaknesses of their partner strategy. Will keep you all posted.
