Yes, indeed, if the financials WERE released before Burgess said they would be, I WOULD give him credit for being "more than honest". Not only that, I'd score this company it's first point for prudence, for giving out a conservative date and then beating it.
It seems the concensus here has shifted, so that there is now almost nobody who still beleives that the financials will be out by the end of the month. (Of course, I know that I will be criticized for saying that, just as I was just criticized for saying that a week ago the concensus was that they WOULD be released by the end of the month... but that is my read of the thread.)
But I thought that we were all going to wait and see. Well, now I am willing to wait and see, but it seems that most people here have already made up their mind - they're not going to be out by the end of the month, and so you are now making up excuses and denying that anybody ever said that they would be out by the end of the month.
Now, I will agree with one thing that another poster said - we don't have anything from the company - in the form of a press release - that has said that the financials would be out by the end of the month. We only have a report from a thread participant that may or may not be a truthful account of an e-mail from Burgess. An e-mail that just a week ago was accepted by most here as authentic, and that is now being questioned by some of the bulls on this thread, because, it seems, it is now advantageous to question it's authenticity. |
