What Lights the Night

The man in gray neared the end of his vigil. long had he waited. A Christian from the side of the Glade threw a Logos of Light at the man in gray who caught it, laying aside both mace and sword, and lifted it high with his hands. The Light became much clearer. It was in this light that two then formed a new cord, flooding the Glade with Light for all to see.

A new voice increased the Light even further as a strong clear hymn of praise for the Lord was raised, the cleric in white returned and stood in song and praise, setting aside all his letters of protection, his voice Praised the Lord, showing his heart clear, acknowledging that His Lord was with Him.

The foul band raised an ugly face as Nancy suddenly turned into a thinking plotting reasoning man and threw the barb of reason at the Farmer, the man in gray interfered not, the rational attack cannot sway the religious man, just wound him and make him appear worthless, like dung. The foul blessings flowed, one unto the other. The cleric in black was hammered with the same rational attack, Nancy again shifted between her Love and her Reason, using whatever was required to subdue the Christians who slowly bonded together in front of her, to her dismay. The Farmer attempted to turn and talk to the foul band he viewed as part of the Body, all attacked with every available weapon, reason, Scripture, faithfulness, he stood his ground, his wooden cross before his eyes, clear the Glory. The Old Crone spit and hissed, attempting to instruct her blackguard, the man in gray moved forward and struck the Old Crone three solid blows, a blow for reason, a blow for religion and a blow to knock her back to the ground.

The Farmer received some sorely needed aid from an uncertain but true Christian man. The dark Robe, blind with the cares of those who are persecuted, began to instruct, not fearing any would gainsay him. His teaching was directed to the Christians. Again the foul band turned on the Farmer being rude and mean, the Christian became even more certain and went to stand beside him and help him. Denominational leaven was thrown at the Christian who supported the Farmer and final blast of Darkness emanated from the blackguard as he threw all reason and sanity aside and stood upon a single small piece of Scripture, attempting to divide and sunder the cord. Again the Farmer was attacked with reason and claims that his spirit was lacking, truly now he must feel like dung.
The cleric in white picked up the fine point of the dark Robes teaching and honed it with his heart to give as an instruction to the Christians and to the non-believers. The band let black blessings flow between them, strengthening and bolstering each other, striking out with reason and rationality, Scripture and lies, neglecting the fact that we are not here to watch James Garrett instruct everybody that God is found in several verses of the Bible, that it is all a Great Mystery hidden, but not from him, or that he and Alan Markoff are rational men. We have come here to stop this bickering and squabbling and to let the Light shine on those who choose to follow. This foul band before you simply claims Christ but they live in a gutter of hate and despair from which they reach out and try to drag down all.
