They publish a lot of games which have lower gross margins like Quake II, Hexen II, Sin, etc. Also with ID going to ION Storm it looks like Quake III will be too. Hexen III too. Even though a game gets good reviews, it doesn't mean it sells alot. You have to check the best sellers lists to see how well the games sell. For Feb 98 in the Top Ten list Quake II was #5. Also a lot of these new games need Voodoo cards to get the best eye candy. cl >>>The real question mark with this company right now and the reason I believe so many people sold is How could they sell so many games (based on the number of new games they put out, the relatively good reviews, and the higher revenues they've stated) and STILL NOT MAKE MONEY? <<<
