Lance, Here are the sentences in the press release that i zeroed in on:
"The systems now in operation can be readily adapted to a myriad of applications outside the university markets. Convention centers, shopping malls, amusement parks, sports arenas, airports, bus terminals, train stations and any public or community location is a natural fit for the Community Marquee system...........Taking this information system and combining computer telephony, interactive voice response and computerized database creation will generate a tremendous amount of added value for the advertisers"
Now i'll give you just the first bit of dreaming that popped into my head. I don't know if these audio visual information systems would be referred to as kiosks, but that's how i envision them. Now look at the colleges where they are in operation and the markets to which they can be easily adapted such as malls and airports. Now look at combining these systems with computer telephony. Now, Lance, how would you like to get in on the ground floor of the internet pay phone business? I'm just dreaming, and the company probably has something entirely different in mind; i just wanted to give you an idea of the possibilities that exist. I'll try to add some more thoughts later.
