Albert,

<And all of the high tech stocks are considered high risk.>

I guess it depends on your definition of risk and high risk. I agree that all equities contain some risk but from my perspective INTC is VERY low risk. They are one of the most dominant companies right at the heart of a technology revolution that has just begun. No one can match their combination of management skill, leadership, technology, brand awareness, manufacturing capability, manufacturing capacity, and marketing. I do not see any dynamics which threaten this. In fact, I see more opportunity than ever. My vision is that INTC will dominate the high end (i.e. server market) over the next 10 years the same way the dominated the desktop arena. At the same time they will continue to get more than their fair share of the low-end and desktop markets. The real future is the high end. Intel has barely begun to penetrate this market and the potential is enormous....not only for servers but to also penetrate into the mid-size computer market (i.e. AS/400) and mainframe markets.

<AMD is traded on future expectations.>

As do all stocks. My expectations for AMD are continued losses. My expectations for INTC is continued profitability with tremendous opportunity including Merced.
