cree's new cbl green and blue led's are as bright as nichia but more important is that they are cheeper .20 vs .90 they also are a verticle device which means they are easier to use also they are approved for auto's because of their supior esd properties. nichia led's have aserious problem of degradation.look for more autos in addition to vw and cell phone and laptops computers as new customers.
