Estimado Se¤or Ciriani,

I am "lurking" your thread, I have a number of questions:
Re: Argentina

What about foreign debt?

Will the government be able to keep balance between the needs for popular programs and economic realities?

Is there a risk of the return to hyper-inflation of the past?

What are the main differences/advantages of Argentina, over Brazil, Chile, Mexico?

How are the "privatization" program going? are they "on schedule", without any backlash from unions, and the like?

Is there a good "diversification" thrust in foreign trade? or are you becoming heavily US dependant?

Are there any plans (as with Chile), to join NAFTA in the near future, or other trade treaties, I understand Argentina is part of Mercosur?

As for direct investment in the Merval(?) (Argentinian Stock Exchange), what are the tax consideration, i.e.: is Capital Gains exempted, for Argentinean nationals or for foreign investors?

I think that is enough for now, I hope you do not mind my asking so many questions... Thanks in advance.

z.
