Help!! Enquiring minds want to know. I sold some out of the money options (covered). They are now in the money. Does anyone out there have a feel for the probability of being called now; in a week; in two weeks or just before or at expiration date? These are april options. Does the calling take place, as a practical matter on the thursday before or right on the friday? Or is it random in terms of timing? I'm trying to determine if I should buy the option back or wait a few weeks on the theory that it is very unlikely I getted called this early with three to four weeks remaining until expiration.
