Hi Michael, some questions maybe you can answer...any help would really be appreciated.
If I understand correctly, TBR was actually comprised of Telerj, Telepar, Telemig, Telesp, Embratel, and 21 other subsidiaries whose names I don't know. Again, if I understand correctly, the wireless portions of all of these subsidiaries have recently been split from the fixed line portions, somehow merged together, resulting in 8 new companies that will handle all wireless operations. The eight new companies are already named and will soon be trading on the Brazilian exchange.
First of all, is the above your understanding?
Do you know the names of the wireless spinoffs and what geographical areas they cover and whether they are A band or B band.
What happens to Telepar, Telemig, Telesp, Embratel and the other 21 susidiaries? They will be merged and split into the 3 fixed line companies? Telesp etc will be no longer correct? I had thought this would all be part of the advisor plan, but seems to me that they have already defined all or the majority of the 11 new companies.
I may be way off base, if so please correct me. Please tell me what you know.
Thanks,
