I tried to place my order even before that, finally got through and placed it at exactly 10:00, and was filled 15 minutes later. Likewise, my sell order was screwed up, too. I called to complain and now my buy and sell are both shown as cancelled. I should have made some good money today, but I got shafted again. I have screen captures which say "your order has been placed", showing a time stamp.

Since a lot of people with different brokers got screwed, I think the MMs are responsible. Trading wasn't that heavy - they sat on the market orders intentionally. I will be contacting the NASD if I'm not happy with what my broker tells me.
