It happens that the object this book was one of satans" brides ordained each year for their propensity toward evil. THe equivalent or worse than Warlock.

And you'd think, really, that the hospital administration, not to mention Rebecca's colleagues, might have been just the tinest bit vexed at a nurse who accused a patient of being demonically possessed.
