I love that immediate gratification. :-)

As far as when to short, it never bothers me to go after "cheap" shares- all I care about is % declines, and if I short at $6 and cover at $4 1/2 I've made a cool 25% return in a short time.

One poster recently threw up some results published in Broadband that suggested that the COMS flavor of V.90 56kbps beat the pants off the competition. Do you have any insight into why a consumer would choose the Boca modem over the others(for the basic model)? I see they have VoiceFirst and AutoMax technology, and a software bundle, but do you think this will be compelling to the average consumer? In other words, what I'm asking is whether you have a clear feel wherein Boca's modem competitive advantage, if any, lies? Or will the hopeful buying spree lift all boats, Boca's included?

Also, to all: Boca was supposed to begin shipping on Monday (according to their web site), and I had expected a press release announcing this (you see I was going to hold off for a possible pop before entering my short). I haven't found any such announcement, so I'm wondering if the company actually met their goal. Anyone know the scoop? If not, I'll hopefully get around to calling the company and ask.
