I looked around at a few online computer companies. Published quotes for PPro 200/256k are still $650-700. So I don't think INTC actually raised prices. Perhaps a jump in spot price can be explained by shortage: Intel acknowledges 200MHz Pentium Pro shortage for Q4 pcweek.com Yowsers, my Intel glasses are getting rosier all the time.
