David... a silly question.... What exactly determines the difference between the bid and ask for a stock? I have read numerous posts from different people about various stocks that complain about the bid-ask difference. Some stocks have a small difference, and others have a hole big enough for a whale. Is there any way that one can forecast the approximate size of the bid-ask difference? Thanks... Mark.
