Just for purposes of clarity, does anyone have information regarding Hayton that does not come from Wired?

Aleta, I know you highlighted some areas in the Powertel thread. I read the first 60 posts, or so, and didn't find anything extremely remarkable. Is there more on that thread, about Hayton, that we should be cognizant of? Incidentally, Powertel seems to have survived whatever negativity there was involving Hayton, and the company now has "neutral" rating by Bear Stearns.

But beyond this, is there anything else that people reading this thread know about Hayton?

This is what I add up so far (correct me if wrong):

1) Hayton supposedly ran the Powertel company into the ground (I think those were the words used in previous descriptions). But this company now has a "neutral" rating from an esteemed analyst.

2) Wired slammed Hayton big time. And now we learn that a former SIM employee is now working for Wired; and that a 200K employee lawsuit is apparently big enough news that it deserved Wired's attention.

Am I missing something? Or is this all that there is? Thanks for anybody's help in clarifying this.
