Mike Many of Titanic's passengers preferred to stay on the ship because they did not trust the life boats.
Consequently, most people on this thread are unwilling to offend Paul and Bob, and are trying to provide useful end user feedback. It has been said on this site many times over...the software is like having a Ferrari in your garage, problem is NAQ cannot find the keys to make it run. Furthermore, NAQ has a tendency to blame the users for NAQ's inadequacy, "too many quotes, must be your ISP, it's the internet, blah blah blah." In reality.....they are the ones who finally decided to find a T-1 connection, add another server, and whatever else "they" determine is needed, after enough users take the lifeboats. I wonder if this is just a start-up company going through growing pains, or was this a college project that returned a profit?
Many users who have RT use it as a back-up, others only use it to obtain sporadic quotes during the day, many daytraders are unable to use it for short term trades because of the feed's unreliability. These users refrain from expressing their dismay with feed problems because it serves their limited purposes. Another interesting item, satellite and internet users experience the same telltale problems, draw your own conclusions.
I took the lifeboat route....and have found a provider whose feed has not been down once since I signed on.
