Thanks for getting back. I see you're up in Canada and that does make a difference when trading Bob's picks (re: discount brokers). The example you gave is good, but how many low priced picks of Bob's get that $.50 move in 1-7 days? Not too many... if my memory is correct.

BB has made some good calls and some bad calls, but haven't we all. My only objection is that he doesn't use tarket prices when he recommends a stock or give sells... his logic supposedly being that "he" would move the market. I haven't seen that to be true. Take a look at the prices of the stocks he put on his "dump" list. They haven't changed much and some are even up. His logic to "revamp" the portfolio is good... but a little late for a lot of us <G>!

Have been considering Ameritrade or E-Trade (U.S.) because of their commissions, but not sure how good their executions are. E-Trade seems to offer the best deal here in the U.S., but don't know how good their executions and fills would be... especially with the large spreads on some of these stocks. Greenline (Waterhouse here in the U.S.) was suggested and I have to check out their commission schedule on Canadian issues (as well as U.S. equities).
