Speculation on future of company is pointless until we get some facts about present circumstances. KE's seeming disdain for the press, the street and shareholder anxiety have caused needless uncertainty all-around. We know how stock prices respond to uncertainty, right?

I still hold the opinion that the Asian blow-up should have been a wash, at worst, for IOM. In fact, way, way back a post here cited an IOM Asia exec quote in the press that the company bottom line would benefit a few cents in Q4 '97. He went on to say it would be a temp. benefit. In any case, I don't think Asia had or has much to do with IOM woes.

The reason that KE left will come out within days, if not hours (Herbie is on this case, don't you think?). If we dare to assume that
IOM does not have some horrible dark secret in the closet, they have a tremendous opportunity here if they can deftly handle the queries coming their way today.....RETURN HERBIE'S CALL!!!!
