Long 10,000 of SLIC__ Semiconductor Laser International Corporation, a development stage company, is engaged in the development and production of high power semiconductor diode lasers (HPDLs) which meet the quality standards of existing HPDL's at lower cost. For the nine months ended 9/30/97, revenues increased from $0 to $327 thousand. Net loss before extraordinary item increased from $1.4 million to $3.4 million. Mixed results reflect increased commercial production. If/when (and I believe soon), contracts kick in this should jump.. came across my volume attention screen this morning with buying.
