Interesting theory, but WRONG!

It is well known that the word BLANK originated in Shakespearean times, (actually, in the very same theatre that hosted Romeo and Juliet) when it was decided that the love-stories/tragedies were not bringing enough audience. To draw crowds, the audience was treated to a warm up act, called "Def Comedy Poetry", that used the word frequently.

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.
