Mark, WinStar did win the A Block (1150 MHz) license in San Francisco. NextBand got the B Block (150 MHz).

I agree with Bernard. This seems unbelievably cheap.
License covers 6.42 million people in the San Francisco bay area and WinStar only paid $23.32M net (31.09 gross bid). This is only $3.63 per pop, or around 32 cents in our old channel pop world. And in a prime market for the reasons Bernard mentioned.
