Are you talking about Williams' batting average, or, his team, the Red Sox' winning percentage during his career? If the former, Ted hit .343 lifetime, which is a 34.3% success percentage. If the latter, the Red Sox played > .500 ball averaged over his whole career. Ted did hit .406 in 1941. Maybe you mean that. Tony
