Charger, The goal of the participants is to take $5000 as of Jan 1, 1998 and grow by a $1000 per week. Some people do pennies, others do $5 stocks, and some do options (I primarily stick to these). It doesn't matter what vehicle, but it is related to stocks (no commodity futures, bonds, etc.). The $5000 starting capital limits some of the possibilities on the higher priced stocks. - Brian
