Joe, then how do we account for this....someone has the story wrong. This might be an old press release, but it does bring up some questions.

Sega Establishes U.S. Casino Game Operations
Dec. 5, 1995
TOKYO (AP) - Sega Enterprises Ltd., the Japanese maker of video-game machines, said Tuesday it has established a new company in Las Vegas to expand its casino game business.

The new company, called Sega Gaming Technology Inc., will apply for a Nevada gaming manufacturing and distribution license. Sega it will seek similar licenses in Mississippi and New Jersey in the near future.

Separately, Sega said it shipped more than 2 million of its Sega Saturn compact disc video-game machines in Japan in the first year of production. A company spokesman said worldwide Saturn sales to date total roughly 3 million units
