It means they do not meet the requirements for continued listing on the AMEX. I'm not sure what requirement they fail to meet. If it is just the minimum share price requirement, then they could (COULD) do a reverse split to get the share price over the minimum. If they have some other violation, we will hear about it. But companies beg and plead with the exchange and sometimes if they have business plans and it looks like whatever is causing the problem will be fixed, they are let listed till the plan works or fails.

You will not lose your shares, if they are delisted, they will just go onto the 'pink sheets' of the bulletin board for trading. If they reverse split, you will have less shares.

Anyone else have more to add to this?
