Bill,

Their website is skyconnect.com, and it should give you the info you want. Here is the information about the relationship they have with DEC and ORCL. I am hoping for good news on SEAC as well, but I've been calling some people I know who are interested in this technology and they've let me know who SEAC competitors are and this was the main one. Does is sound like these two companines are not competitors?

BOULDER, CO (August 5, 1997) - To solidify its leadership position as a technology solutions provider to the cable television industry, SkyConnect, Inc. announces the acquisition of worldwide exclusive rights to Digital Equipment Corp.'s (NYSE: DEC) core digital ad insertion system software. The software is used primarily for cable advertising insertion systems and is one component of Digital's MediaplexT suite of video products. Digital, with SkyConnect's assistance, designed and developed this core software specifically for the rigorous performance requirements of the cable industry.

SkyConnect's current and future customers are now well poised to be key benefactors of the recent agreement between Digital and Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL) regarding the delivery of new digital media based on Oracle Video ServerT. This agreement reinforces the benefits to customers who have selected SkyConnect's ad insertion product line with its core Digital AlphaServerT platform. The acquisition gives SkyConnect complete control for expanding the functionality and compatibility of the industry's premier ad insertion solution. The company will continue to develop its current suite of products and is excited about the possibilities of working with companies such as Digital and Oracle to enhance and expand a full spectrum of solutions for the industry.

The acquisition is a logical outcome of the recent agreement between Digital and Oracle to develop and deliver Oracle Video Server on Digital's AlphaServer platform. This reinforces Digital's strategy to focus on the Digital 64-bit Alpha architecture as the premier platform for video applications developed by partners.
