that was a real bad day for me. [segue] I guess nobody wants to talk about comic books. rats. not being able to get on the internet is horrible. one whole day except for about 10 minutes before I went to work this a.m.
problem fixed on this puter. Here is my work puter story: 2 months ago, the hard drive (WESTERN DIGITAL) broke. again. took it to Mr. G to fix. He was pretty busy. yesterday I got it back. took it to my new job (Mr. G is at the old job) and got set up. Today got the internet provider all set up, phone line set up, all that.
Prepared to plug in the phone line....big hole in the back of the puter where the modem plug used to be. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
Called Mr. G, not there. not there, not there, not there, not there, not there.
5 p.m. called to see if he would be in the office tomorrow and he answered the phone. told story.
"Oh, geez! I was wondering where that modem came from! Sorry, man. Bring it over (45 minute drive each way) tomorrow at 9 a.m. and I'll put it back in, sorry." (laughing)
