When I said gold stocks, I meant gold mining and exploration companies. I guess I should have been more explicit on this. Gold coins won't give you anywhere the leverage as gold mining stocks will.

APCO is the symbol for Auto Protection Company. They are a company that sells after market extended service policies for autos, trucks and motor homes. They just administer the policies and don't have any liability. The libability is absorbed by several large insurance companies. LLoyds of London is one of these. They have a thread here if you are interested. exchange2000.com

To invest in China I used the Templeton China Fund. It is a closed end fund that trades on the NYSE under the symbol TCH. You buy it just like you would any stock. If you are really serious about Russia, Templeton has a closed end fund that invests there also. It is the Templeton Russia Fund and it trades under the symbol TRF. I think this would be the only way I would ever invest there and I don't think I would do it at this time. They just have too many problems over there. If you are interested in investing in other countries I would suggest that you pick up a copy of Barrons next weekend. They have a whole section that lists all the closed end funds. There is a fund for just about anywhere in the world you would want to invest.

I hope this helps a little. If you have any more questions we probably should continue by private message so as to not corrupt the thread.

Dave
