All of the "emerging" markets that you refer to are tied, for the most part, to consumer systems. Prices are falling in the consumer segment at an especially rapid rate, suggesting that Diamond will feel pressure as far as margins are concerned, regardless of volume.

Moreover, reduced product life cycles suggest reduced demand for upgrades.

I understand and agree with your point concerning Diamond's positioning relative to other producers in a price-sensitive environment, but it doesn't change the fact that margins will decrease. Over time, volumes should begin to decrease as well as a result of the compressed product life cycles I mentioned previously.
