No I cannot honestly say what his method of selection is or was. You have to understand that it becomes almost a political or personal matter if I ask too much or get too prying in my interest. Most physician egos can be fragile and defensive and I really don't want to impune his "selection process" or his "diagnosis of the patient's condition". Along those lines, I can't help but feel that maybe the diagnosis being entertained is not entirely correct and thus the marginal or total lack of improvement. Am I making sense? As I mentioned before, the cases I am seeing personally are those who are getting knee arthroscopies. No contact with office patients and the elderly.
