If the annoucement does not come out tomorrow. The Market Makers do not bail out. They are the ones setting up the buyers and sellers. What happens is the MM's artificiality open the price for trading at a low value. Stock trading at .35 may open at .25 to .28. People who bought in over .32 may not want to sell and hold and wait. Others who got in at .25 to .28 or lower sell. The price retreats....closing at say .20 to .24 cents. Now, the next day the stock opens even to anticipate news. Now, if news is positive the stock would open higher say .27 to .30. Why because MM's have a beat on the info before you or I. If it opens same or slightly lower...MM's want to see how the market will gauge the outcoming news. If it's good and the buys flood in they just sell shares they had just recently got back to investors at the higher prices. If it's bad people sell the stock decreases and at a certain point new speculators buy back in thinking that there getting a bargan on the shares. Companies and news....ALL the big companies Fortune 500 do this. Good news comes out at the open...bad news comes out after the close....Good news usually comes out at the beginning or mid week. bad news on Fridays on after the close on Thursday. That's why you have so many Black Fridays. Penny companies are not as savvy. But, for the most part since most are scams (not csgc). Good news will follow the same as above with the same news release with different wording coming out a day or even the same day to reinerate the great news...MM's manipulate prices high and low according to how they anticipate the market will react to the companies news...There are some threads in SI on Market Maker's just put Market Maker into the query box below...
