Medical Discoveries Inc. announced on Wednesday that Ned M. Weinshenker PHD has been named to the company's scientific advisory board. Weinshenker is currently president, CEO, and a director of IOMED Inc. (Salt Lake City). IOMED designs, manufactures, and distributes iontophoretic drug delivery systems, a method of transdermal delivery utilizing electrical current to enhance drug transport.
Weinshenker recieved his doctorate in organic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and pursued postdoctotal research at Harvard University. His background includes tenure with NYSE-listed ALZA Corp. (Palo Alto, California), and ALZA-spinoff Dynapol (Palo Alto.)
In addition, Weinshenker has served as president of Churchill Oaks Consulting, providing management and technical expertise to organizations in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, and chemical industries.

Anyone with any knowledge of MDI-P please comment. The FDA is impressed and they have some very reputable people joining their team. The stock price has been creeping up and is being accumulated. As of October 24, 1996 the price was $0.53 X $0.59.
