I'm not sure I believe all these numbers. For instance, I think the Netscape useage is around triple that shown, perhaps more. It seems to me the Office use would overlap the Word use, since it's part of Office, but the overlap is not shown. And I bet the number of solitaire users (who have ever played it) is more like 50% of all Windows users. Your link: mediametrix.com However, overall the numbers are rather poignant, as you imply.
