David, being short is not so different to being long...

Shorting is very different. First, in a short position there are no end to your losses. You can lose much more than your initial investment. Bankruptcy does not protect you against Security collection, so you can literally lose everything.

To effectively short requires a great deal of DD and minute by minute monitoring. Have you looked at their financials, does their cashflow have a problem? Is there stuff hidden underneath the carpet? You are shorting a company that is being accumulated by some large institutions. Do you think they are done? Do you think TAVA will announce soon? Or, how about NMS, which is always good for a pop?

Patrick, I hope you don't lose a lot of money or resort to continuous posts on this thread telling us the stock will drop so we should all sell. TAVA will probably announce soon, its been a little while.
